October 5, 2023 – Regular Council Meeting

The regular council meeting convened at 6:00 PM.
Present for public participation were Joe Truitt, Mike Zemba, Randy Pearson, Jen Bastien, and Suzanne Carpenter.
A report was given by the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department.
A report was given by the City Assessor.
A report was given by the Department of Public Works.
Bills totaling $115,999.26 were approved.
Motion carried to accept Astrea Lease Agreement.
Motion carried to accept Phillippo Insurance property and liability renewal proposal.
Motion carried to approve Peninsula Fiber Network METRO Act Permit.
Motion carried to enter an Agreement for Election Services with Menominee County.
Motion carried to hire Gage Larson.
Motion carried to accept lawnmower bid from Menominee Industrial Supply.
Committee reports were given.
The meeting adjourned at 7:23 PM.
The next regular City Council meeting will be held November 2, 2023.
